The Bare Necessities music performance week 3
Outdoor Learning Spring 1
For our outdoor learning this half term, we started by playing the floor is lava. Then we worked in groups to make a volcano using a frame structure and cladding. We then used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to make it erupt.

We learnt to play the glockenspiels to accompany some parts of the song The Bare Necessities from the Jungle Book.
Sound and Vibrations Investigation
We investigated the relationship between volume and the strength of vibrations...using drums and bird seed!
Plastic by Lea Knowles
We worked in a group to learn and perform a section of the poem Plastic by Lea Knowles, thinking about what would make a good performance. There is some very ambitious vocabulary in the poem, but we did a super job!
